It’s not official that one of the 19th CMAS Finswimming World Cup Series round will be held from April 11-13, 2025, in Barcelona, Spain. It will be the round number 3. This event is part of a prestigious series organized by the World Underwater Federation (CMAS), drawing elite finswimmers from around the globe. With an unlimited capacity for participants, the competition will feature a range of races designed to test athletes’ speed and technique in underwater swimming using fins. The World Cup series is a cornerstone for the sport, offering both professional and amateur finswimmers a platform to compete at the highest level.
The 2025 CMAS 19th World Cup Finswimming Indoor Series in Barcelona, Spain, will take place from April 11 to 13, 2025. The event will feature top athletes competing in finswimming, a high-speed underwater sport where swimmers use a monofin or bifins. With Barcelona being one of the key destinations for the 2025 World Cup series, this competition is expected to attract global attention from both fans and participants.
The event will take place over three days and there wiull be the following races:
- Male + Female: 50AP, 100IM, 200IM, 400IM, 50SF, 100SF, 200SF, 400SF, 800SF, 1500SF, 50BF, 100BF, 200BF,
400BF, 4X100SF, 4x100SB mixed
These finswimming races will take place in the pool, and each event is timed to the millisecond, making every race competitive. Barcelona will also showcase the speed and agility of world-class finswimmers during this action-packed weekend .
