The First Round of the Tunisian Finswimming Championships 2025 took place on December 29-30, 2024, showcasing exceptional talent from across the country. This event, organized by the Tunisian Federation of Subaquatic and Lifesaving Activities, featured races in various categories and distances, including 50m apnea, 100m bifins, and 400m surface finswimming.
Standout performances included Sarra Ben Ahmed (ASCNS), who secured victories in multiple events such as the 50m apnea (19.53 seconds) and 200m bifins (1:55.08). Among the men, Mohamed Aloui (LF) dominated the 50m apnea with a remarkable time of 15.63 seconds. The team competitions were fiercely contested, with JSB and ASCNS clubs earning numerous podium finishes.
The event served as a qualifying round for national rankings and was marked by impressive performances from junior athletes, highlighting the future of Tunisian finswimming. In addition to individual achievements, the competition emphasized the depth of talent in clubs like C.N.S.U and ASM, which contributed significantly to the championship’s dynamic atmosphere.
