As we can read in the official CMAS page, the Korean finswimmer Je Sol Yang has been disqualified for having violated three whereabouts.
2.4 Whereabouts Failures
Any combination of three missed tests and/or filing failures, as defined in the International Standard for Testing and Investigations, within a twelve-month period by an Athlete in a Registered Testing Pool.
14.3 Public Disclosure
14.3.1 The identity of any Athlete or other Person who is asserted by CMAS to have committed an anti-doping rule violation may be Publicly Disclosed by CMAS only after notice has been provided to the Athlete or other Person in accordance with Article 7.3, 7.4, 7.5, 7.6 or 7.7 and simultaneously to WADA and the National Anti-Doping Organization of the Athlete or other Person in accordance with Article

In accordance with Article 14.3 of the CMAS Anti-Doping Rules, CMAS hereby reports that the Athlete Ms Ye Sol JANG (KOR) has been found to have violated Article 2.4 of the CMAS Anti-Doping Rules (Whereabouts Failures). The Athlete has committed three Whereabouts Failures within a twelve-months period.
In light of the above, the Athlete has been sanctioned as follows:
- one-year period of Ineligibility. The Ineligibility starts on the date of third Whereabouts Failure (24 July 2017) and remains in force until 24 July 2018.
- Disqualification of all the results obtained by the Athlete starting from 24 July 2017, including forfeiture of medals, points and prizes.
Now it only remains to expect what other consequences will have this decision for the swimmer by CMAS. What will happen to her medals and records? Will her CMAS records be deleted and the medals reassigned in the competitions in which she incurred in violation of anti-doping rules?
