The CMAS Sports Committee has announced a series of webinars in collaboration with the International Testing Agency (ITA), aimed at reinforcing clean sport education within the finswimming and underwater sports community. The initiative underscores CMAS’s commitment to integrity and fairness in competition.
The ITA Webinar Series will feature three sessions, scheduled as follows:
- Webinar 1: Wednesday, April 9, 2025, from 14:00 to 15:00 CEST
- Webinar 2: Wednesday, April 16, 2025, from 14:00 to 15:00 CEST
- Webinar 3: Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 14:00 to 15:00 CEST
While specific topics for each session have yet to be announced, the webinars are expected to cover essential anti-doping principles, testing procedures, and the latest updates in the fight against performance-enhancing substances in sports. The ITA is a globally recognized organization that works with international federations and event organizers to uphold anti-doping regulations and educate stakeholders about the importance of clean competition.
CMAS has called on all its affiliated federations to actively promote this educational opportunity among athletes, coaches, and other key members of the underwater sports community. Spreading awareness about doping risks and best practices is vital for ensuring that competitions remain fair and transparent.
Further details regarding the content of each webinar will be provided in due course. For now, all CMAS-affiliated federations are encouraged to mark their calendars and prepare for these valuable sessions.
