The 2025 Italian Senior Spring Finswimming Championships will be held in Lignano Sabbiadoro (UD) from 7 to 9 March. The event will be held at the Olympic swimming pool of the “Bella Italia” Sports Village (50 m pool with 8 lanes), located in Viale Centrale, 29.
The event is organized by the Italian Federation of Underwater Activities and Swimming (FIPSAS) in collaboration with the A.S.D. Sportinacqua. The event will be regulated by the FIPSAS Normative Circular for Finswimming and the National Finswimming Competition Regulations.
Program
The event will be held according to the following provisional program:
Friday 7 March
- Morning: Warm-up, 50 m CMAS monofin (heats), 50 m CMAS fins (heats), 200 m CMAS monofin (heats), 400 m CMAS fins (series), 200 m VS CMAS monofin (series), 1500 m CMAS monofin (series), 4×100 m CMAS monofin relay (Under 18), morning races awards.
- Afternoon: Warm-up, 50 m CMAS monofin (final), 50 m CMAS fins (final), 200 m CMAS monofin (final), 400 m CMAS fins (1st series), 200 m VS CMAS monofin (1st series), 1500 m CMAS monofin (1st series), 4×100 m CMAS monofin relay (absolute).
Saturday 8 March
- Morning: Warm-up, 50 m CMAS monofin apnea (final), 400 m CMAS monofin (1st series).
- Afternoon: Warm-up, 100 m VS CMAS monofin (1st series), 200 m CMAS fins (heats), 400 m CMAS monofin (1st series), 100 m VS CMAS monofin (1st series), 200 m CMAS fins (final), 4×100 m CMAS fins relay 2M+2F, 4×100 m CMAS fins relay 2M+2F (Under 18), 4×50 m CMAS monofin relay (Under 18), morning races awards.
Sunday 9 March
- Morning: Warm-up, 400 m VS CMAS monofin (series), 100 m CMAS monofin (heats), 100 m CMAS fins (heats).
- Afternoon: 400 m VS CMAS monofin (1st series), 100 m CMAS monofin (final), 100 m CMAS fins (final), 800 m CMAS monofin (1st series), 4×100 m mixed relay 2M+2F FIN/MONOFIN (Under 18), 4×200 m CMAS monofin relay (Under 18), morning races awards.
General notes
- The event is open to all athletes who are members of the FIPSAS.
- Athletes must be in possession of a valid CMAS license.
- Athletes must be born on or before 31 December 2005 to compete in the Under 18 category.
- Athletes can participate in a maximum of 5 individual events and 2 relays.
- The use of a mouthpiece is mandatory in all events.
- The event will be held in accordance with the rules of the FIPSAS and the CMAS.
How to register
Registration for the event will be open until 28 February 2025. Registration can be done online on the FIPSAS website.
Race times
The race times for the event will be published on the FIPSAS website in the days leading up to the event.
Prizes
Medals will be awarded to the first three athletes in each event.
