On October 21, 2023, the Hibridlevel Cup Finswimming competition took place in Dunaujvaros (Hungary).
Finswimmers jumped into the water on Saturday morning, October 21, under the title of the Hibridlevel Cup Finswimming. In Dunaújváros, at the Fabó Éva Sportusozoda, after the whistle at 10 o’clock, fifteen clubs and two hundred and twenty participants measured themselves in different distances and competitions. Róbertné Debreczeni Hajnalka Gurisatti said at the opening that this year’s event has several special features. On the one hand, a record number of competitors registered, and two new swimming numbers were added to the competition list. One of them is the 200-meter diving, which was included in the international competition program this year. Also new is the mixed relay, where two boys and two girls try to win the relay, one boy in freestyle swimming, the other in freestyle swimming with a large fin, and girls in freestyle swimming and their partner in surface swimming with large fins. It is also special that those who do not yet have a competition certificate could start in their own category. This also gives beginners a sense of success.
Saturday was crowded and busy at the Éva Fabó Sportusozoda, but as we have become accustomed to at the Búvársuli competitions, everything was fine.
